Ted Koppell asked her to make appearances on Nightline with regard to AIDS. Morgan was nominated to win an Emmy for her performance in the Murphy Brown episode written by Diane English for her. The spring, she starred as Joan Rivers on ABC's Your Money or Your Wife. The summer was kicked off by Murder At The PTA Luncheon. The show, Von Zerneck/Sertner also included Cindy Williams and Marla Gabbs. Then, she was transported to Luxembourg for the Harmony Gold's Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee also appeared in the production. Morgan played a part in the psychological suspense thriller which was produced exclusively by the USA Network garnering one of the biggest ratings in the network's history.
